Roxane Castro focuses on corporate and regulatory litigation, white collar defense, compliance and internal investigations.
Prior to joining Navacelle, she has been a member of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) for several years where she worked on insider trading cases, issuer communication and professional misconducts issues. Roxane is also a former Debevoise & Plimpton LLP associate, where she worked on securities and shareholder litigation as well as complex cross-border commercial litigation.
Prior to becoming a member of the Paris and New York Bars, she interned at the Paris office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and at the Chicago office of Chapman and Cutler LLP.
Roxane has also been a lecturer at the Paris Bar School and frequently speaks at professional conferences and seminars.
Roxane joined Navacelle in 2022.
Roxane has a strong experience in dealing with market abuse cases at all stages of the AMF procedure as well as before the appelate courts (Paris Court of Appeals and Conseil d’Etat). She has worked in particular on insider trading cases based on allegations of use or communication of privileged information in various industries.
Roxane has also worked on market manipulations cases, based on layering allegations.
Roxane also assisted a group of companies based in Europe, Americas and Asia in the context of the implementation of internal sanctions arising following a change in the shareholding.
