Paris Arbitration Week 2024 – Ethics & Arbitration panel

Navacelle is hosting a panel regarding Ethics & Arbitration on 19 March 2024, during the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW).

Join us for an engaging panel on 19 March 2024 at 5:00pm (CET), around the theme of “Ethics and Arbitration: Shedding light on issues of conflicts of interest, independence and impartiality of arbitrators”. Scheduled to last 1.5 hours, this insightful session will feature panel presentations followed by 30 minutes allocated for audience questions, offering attendees the opportunity to interact directly with our esteemed speakers.

This year, we aim to explore ethical considerations in arbitration, covering topics like conflicts of interest, relationships between arbitrators and lawyers, and the importance of independence and impartiality. While rooted in French jurisprudence, our discussion will also include insights from other jurisdictions for a broader perspective. With Michael Ostrove, Global Co-Chair of the International Arbitration practice at DLA Piper, Patricia Nacimiento, partner at Herbert Smith Freehills, Ashish Bhan, partner at Trilegal and Eduardo Damião Gonçalves, partner at Mattos Filho, moderated by Stéphane de Navacelle.

The conference will also be broadcast online (registration required).

Replay is now available here.
