What’s new in the anticorruption world – practical advice

Highlight of a recent report, the OECD singled out France for its inaction in the area of foreign bribery and called on it to step up its efforts to combat bribery of foreign public officials.

Stéphane de Navacelle spoke alongside Hubert de Vauplane (Attorney at Law, Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP), Karl Payeur, (Partner, Deloitte Forensic) and Benoît Charrière-Bournazel (Attorney at Law, CBR & Associés) on the topic “There’s something new in anti-bribery laws”. In a recent report, the OECD singled out France for its inaction in the area of foreign bribery and called on it to step up its efforts to combat bribery of foreign public officials. Will the U.S. and U.K. authorities take the initiative to replace the French authorities in order to remedy their shortcomings? Based on concrete scenarios, and in the form of feedback, a series of practical cases will be answered. The participants will thus receive the points of view of the legal director, the expert and the lawyer in internal investigations.
