A corporate perspective on human rights and environnemental due diligence and sanctions

"From checklists to handcuffs", a round table organised as part of the American Bar Association International Law Section's Autumn Conference in London on 15 November 2024.

 

As part of the American Bar Association International Law Section’s Autumn Conference, Roxane Castro moderated a round-table discussion on environmental and human rights due diligence and related sanctions.

The discussion addressed :

  • The multiple sources of HREDD obligations and their interactions
  • Challenges companies face in implementing HREDD obligations and the role of lawyers
  • Sanctions related to HREDD
