The French Competition Authority maintained sustained enforcement activity in 2025, with 9 enforcement decisions issued totaling €379 million in sanctions, despite 18% decline compared to 2024.
The Authority’s enforcement decisions relate to various sectors including distribution, construction, digital and services. Notably, a record sanction of €15 million was imposed on Apple for the implementation of its App Tracking Transparency framework in abuse of its dominant position in the sector.
Some trends were also confirmed in the past year. For instance, in a case against the French ski schools (Ecole du Ski Français), the French Competition Authority found anticompetitive agreements in the context of a labor market.
